About these terms
This website is operated by MedVoyage Medical Tourism. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
What MedVoyage provides
MedVoyage is a medical travel coordination service. We organise your medical information into a case, approach medical providers on your behalf, relay their responses to you, and help with travel guidance, accommodation, transport, interpretation and local support.
What MedVoyage does not provide
- We are not a hospital, clinic, or medical practice, and we do not employ the doctors who treat you.
- We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or give medical advice.
- We do not make medical decisions. Those are made by you together with the licensed doctors treating you.
- We do not guarantee medical outcomes, and nobody acting for us is authorised to do so.
- We are not a government body and we do not issue visas or entry permissions. Decisions on entry to Egypt rest entirely with the Egyptian authorities.
Information on this website
The content here is general information to help you understand your options. It is not medical advice and must not be used as a substitute for a consultation with a qualified doctor. If you have an urgent or worsening medical problem, seek care where you are now.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information. A medical opinion based on incomplete or inaccurate information may be wrong, and that can be harmful.
- Only upload documents that relate to you, or to a person you are authorised to act for.
- Confirm entry requirements, costs and medical advice independently, as we encourage throughout this site.
- Do not use this website or our forms for any unlawful purpose.
Third parties
Hospitals, clinics, doctors, accommodation providers and transport providers are independent of MedVoyage. We coordinate with them, but we do not control the care or the services they provide, and their own terms apply to what they do.
Costs
Treatment costs are set by the provider treating you, not by MedVoyage. Any estimate we pass on to you comes from that provider and may change if your clinical situation changes. We will tell you what MedVoyage charges for coordination before you commit to anything.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, MedVoyage is not responsible for the clinical decisions, treatment, or outcomes of the medical providers who treat you, nor for decisions of the immigration authorities, airlines, or other third parties. We are responsible for carrying out our own coordination work with reasonable care and skill.
Intellectual property
The MedVoyage name, logo and the content of this website belong to MedVoyage Medical Tourism and may not be copied or reused without permission.
