MedVoyage is a medical travel coordination service based in Cairo, Egypt. We help patients across Africa arrange treatment in Egypt — and we stay with them through the parts that hospitals do not cover.

Fatima Mohammed Jidda founded MedVoyage after more than 4 years working in international healthcare coordination, helping patients arrange medical care in Egypt.
The pattern she kept seeing was the same. Patients arrived having organised the treatment but nothing around it — no one at the airport, no interpreter at the consultation, no clear idea of how long to stay or what the plan actually was. The medicine was rarely the hard part. Everything surrounding it was.
MedVoyage was built to close that gap: to put a patient's case in front of appropriate providers properly organised, bring the answer back in language the patient understands, and make sure somebody is beside them for the rest of it.

How we try to work
Medical travel is an industry with a lot of confident marketing in it. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Honesty before conversion
If Egypt is not the right choice for your case, or if we cannot help, we say so. A patient who travels on a false expectation is not a success.
Plain language, always
Medical information is hard enough in your own language. We explain things simply, and we keep explaining until it is clear.
Someone who answers
Being unwell far from home is frightening. Having a person who picks up and knows your situation changes the whole experience.
Your decision, every time
We coordinate and we inform. We never decide for you, and we never pressure you toward a provider or a procedure.
