Everything around the treatment
The hospital provides your medical care. MedVoyage handles the rest — from organising your reports into a reviewable case, through to relaying follow-up questions once you are home.
Medical Case Coordination
Most enquiries arrive as a mix of photos, test results and a description of symptoms. We put that into a clear, ordered case file so the medical providers we approach can give a useful response instead of asking for more information.
Hospital Coordination
Based on your condition and where you will be staying, we approach medical providers suited to your case, share your file with your permission, and relay what they say back to you in plain language.
Doctor Appointment Coordination
Appointments, scans and tests are arranged in an order that makes sense, so you are not making extra trips across Cairo or waiting days between steps that could have been grouped together.
Treatment Planning Coordination
When a provider proposes a plan, we make sure you receive it in writing — what it involves, how long it takes, what follow-up is needed — so you can consider it, ask questions, and get another opinion if you want one. The medical decisions stay with you and your doctors.
Travel & Visa Guidance
Entry requirements for Egypt depend on your passport and change from time to time. We explain which route applies to you and what documents are usually asked for. MedVoyage is not a government body and does not issue visas — final decisions rest with the Egyptian authorities.
Airport Pickup
Arriving in an unfamiliar country while unwell is the hardest part of the trip for many patients. We arrange to have someone meet you at the airport and take you to where you are staying.
Accommodation
We help you find accommodation that suits your situation — how long you are staying, whether you have limited mobility, whether family are travelling with you, and how close you need to be to your treating hospital.
Local Transportation
Transport between your accommodation, the hospital and any scan or test appointments, arranged around your schedule.
Translation & Assistance
Where language is a barrier, we arrange interpretation so you can follow what your doctor is saying and ask your own questions properly. Consultations in Egypt are commonly conducted in Arabic or English.
Patient Support
You have someone to reach while you are in Egypt — for the small practical problems as much as the medical ones. Pharmacies, directions, a changed appointment time, a question you did not get to ask.
Follow-up After Treatment
We help you leave Egypt with your discharge summary and follow-up instructions, and we help relay questions back to your treating team afterwards where that is needed.
