Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026This policy explains what MedVoyage does with the information you give us — particularly your medical information, which we treat as the most sensitive thing you can share with us.
Who we are
MedVoyage Medical Tourism (“MedVoyage”, “we”, “us”) is a medical travel coordination service based in Cairo, Egypt. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@medvoyage.me.
What we collect
We collect only what we need in order to help you. That is:
- Contact details — your name, country, WhatsApp number and email address.
- Medical information — the description of your condition, your age, and any reports, scans or test results you choose to send us.
- Travel preferences — when you would like to travel, how many people are coming, and whether you need accommodation or airport pickup.
- Messages — what you write to us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.
We do not ask for your passport number, national identity number, or payment card details through this website, and you should never send them to us through the forms here.
Why we use it
- To understand your case and respond to your enquiry.
- To share your case with hospitals, clinics and doctors so they can give an opinion on whether and how they could help — with your permission.
- To arrange appointments, accommodation, transport and interpretation.
- To stay in contact with you before, during and after your trip.
We do not sell your information, we do not use your medical information for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone who is not involved in coordinating your care.
Your consent
When you submit the medical case form you are asked to confirm that we may store your information and share it with appropriate medical providers. That consent is the basis on which we act, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us — although we may be unable to continue helping you if you do.
How your medical reports are stored
Files you upload are stored on secured storage that is not publicly accessible. There is no public link to your documents, and they cannot be reached by guessing a web address. They are viewable only by authorised MedVoyage staff through a password-protected administration area.
Who we share it with
- Medical providers — hospitals, clinics and doctors we approach on your behalf, with your permission, so they can assess your case.
- Service providers — accommodation and transport providers, limited to what they need to arrange your booking. They are not given your medical information.
- Technology suppliers — the companies that host this website and our database, under agreements that restrict what they may do with the data.
We may also disclose information if we are required to by law. Because we coordinate care in Egypt, your information will be transferred to and processed in Egypt.
How long we keep it
We keep case information for as long as needed to support you and to keep a record of the coordination we carried out. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it — and we will tell you if that is the case.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Withdraw your consent to us sharing your case with providers.
- Ask us to stop contacting you.
To do any of these, email info@medvoyage.me.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. If we add analytics in future to understand which pages are useful, we will update this policy first.
WhatsApp and social media
When you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or Snapchat, that conversation also sits on that company's platform under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. If you would prefer your medical information not to pass through those platforms, use the medical case form or email instead.
Children
Parents and guardians frequently contact us about a child's treatment, and that is expected. In those cases we deal with the adult, and we ask that the form is completed by the parent or guardian rather than the child.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
